This blog is a project born out of a desire to share bits of what has inspired and moved me along the way in hopes that it may inspire you as well. It’s a space where maybe we can escape somewhere else for a while together. Maybe it’s to Italy. Scandinavia. Maybe an incredible restaurant, or the newest beauty launch.

Above all, this place is for us to be inspired—together—and take a moment in this world we live in.

the name behind this blog

My name is Olivia, and I’m a Chicago native (born and raised) with strong Italian and Irish roots and a passion for art, travel, fashion, and culture. While I’m currently based in Chicago, the dream has always been to make the move to Europe one day.

I work as a marketing strategist and I have a background in art history (Renaissance-focused), Classics (Greek and Roman culture/history), and Italian. You’ll probably see little hints of that reflected in what you see here.

A lot of my travels around the world and what I’ve seen in those pursuits have influenced me to finally “put a pen to paper” and share them… but in a way that’s intentional and with an air of curiosity. If I’ve learned anything thus far, it’s that it’s so important to stay curious and to be willing to share that curiosity. One of my goals is to be a lifelong student when it comes to art, cultures, food… you name it. So this is a place where I thought I could share some of those learnings along the way.
