My name is Olivia.

With this being my first post, I thought I’d start with a short but proper welcome, a pleasure to meet you: a “piacere”.

This blog was built out of a love of travel, fashion, and a desire to stay curious and inspired. Ciao Olivia serves as my creative home and expression of living artfully. I hope you can find a bit of inspiration and intention here too, along with insight into trends in style and beauty, new artists, and brand-new places to dream of travelling to.

Background

I’m a 24 year-old Chicago native (born and raised) and I come from a family with strong Italian roots.

My background is comprised of three areas of study that are incredibly important to me: Italian, Renaissance Studies, and Classics. I’ve always been a bit of a student, and since graduating I’ve aimed to take what I’ve learned and been inspired by in these areas and apply them to my life in an effort to live artfully and intentionally. One could say that art and different cultures have always inspired me from the beginning, but studying these areas in such detail really does leave an impression.
